Based on the Inhalers for Asthma Patient Decision Aid developed by NICE, this PDA is designed to help people with asthma/COPD and their healthcare professional discuss the different inhaler devices that are available to them. Fully interactive, the PDA provides dynamic assessments of inspiratory flow, graphical and video presentations (Asthma UK) of good inhaler technique, comparisons between different types of inhaler and also, facilitates discussion about a patient’s personal preferences and priorities.
